Privacy Policy
Updated October 20, 2026
This policy explains how The Black Out uses information for invitations, RSVPs, event communications and admission.
Information We Use
We use invited guests’ names, email addresses, mobile numbers, RSVP responses, plus-one names, admission permissions, table assignments and check-in records. If you save a Wallet pass, we also process the pass and device registration information needed to keep it current. Sign-in sessions, verification requests and delivery records support security and reliable communication.
How We Use It
We use this information to send personal invitations and event updates, verify invitation access, manage responses and tickets, prevent ticket reuse and help event staff check guests in. Please share a plus-one’s information only with their permission.
Text Messages And Your Choices
Event and future-event texts are sent only to guests who choose the optional, initially unchecked text consent on their verified RSVP form. We retain the mobile number, choice, date, method and disclosure version as a consent record. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, or contact info@blackoutstl.com for help. Stopping texts does not cancel your RSVP.
Sharing And Service Providers
We do not share, sell or provide mobile phone numbers or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Authorized hosts and check-in staff access the information needed for their roles. Service providers process information as needed to host the website, deliver email and texts, and issue or update Wallet passes. These services include the website hosting provider, Resend, Twilio, Apple and Google. Donations open Square’s checkout, where Square processes payment information under its own privacy policy.
Security And Retention
We use restricted host access, verified invitation access and single-use entry codes to protect event information. We retain records as needed to manage the event, handle guest requests and maintain security. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
Contact And Requests
To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or get help with event communications, email info@blackoutstl.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
